:Guys, We all have obstacles. But they are very much scattered accordingly in our life. But in this post, I am gonna tell you how we experienced many obstacles in one day.
It was one fine Sunday. My brother had a school to attend and we were planning to leave Dharmapuri and reach Chidambaram for my college admission. I woke up a little earlier that day. By 9.30 I think. Yep! It was 9.15 sharp. I got fresh and I waited for our journey to begin. The journey implied more than just the "journey". Guys, all these days, there was a building that was being built near our home. The building actually messed up the day. It was the concrete day. They had that thing which grinds up all the stones and you know something they put it on uh.....um....okay... Let's skip that as I am getting way too confused trying to explain that thing. I think I got it... I know what it is but not quite sure of its name. So was Googling it...
Ah-ha! Got it from the Google search. They were using this thing out there. Our road had almost been blocked by a heap of stones even before they began the work involving the construction. The heap covered half of the road and well this machine filled up the remaining. In the morning Mom asked me to take our Two-Wheeler vehicle to go out for a shop. Then I realized that I couldn't go across the construction work to the road while lead them to go into the town and neither did the whole street people.
There was another path not technically a path but a way for pedestrians temporarily used as a two-wheeler path. I took that and rode Mom to the shop and got back. I got hit too below the knee while trying to cross a pit which had to be crossed on by a stone placed to cover it. Ouch! That hurt. But if I let that hurt hurt me now, you'll get to hear the story. I can manage that. Coming back...
My brother hadn't come home yet. Then it suddenly hit Mom. "How do we get the car out?"
Mom projected herself to the one( who was the bastard ) who was responsible for the construction. My mom had just asked permission and that guy had remained ignorant and replied, "Not leaving till evening. Go do anything you want. We aren't stopping the work." Actually my Mom's plan was to start early and to reach the destination before it's midnight. But if she hadn't argued that time we would have wound up in the lonely roads in the midnight. I will get to this part later in this story. Mom planned to get started by 10 so that the 10 hour travel could end by 8 or later if it gets any delay. But it already got late. It was 12 or something close to it. Mom was arguing with him to get that stupid thing off the road just to let us go. But he wouldn't let us. Then came Vidhuran who is my brother, from school. He, later told that that was the guy who beats up children who play cricket near his home. He is such a douche. Then after much of protest, he finally gave way. We took off by 1 o'clock. We were on our way.
Hate to admit this, but I hafta admit it. While my Mom was fighting with that guy, I should have been with her supporting. But rather I was scared and I remained home while she was out fighting with him to get a way.. I feel bad. I gotta gain some courage. Can I cart this so called "courage" in ebay?? No. Practicing on that. Will gain it soon..
As the fight was on, we didn't upload my phone with the songs. So we went in the car music-less.It was all going very nice and smooth. It was near Trichy on a Bridge. It was already jammed with a vehicle break down. As our driver slowed down, JUCK! Our car got broken down. The self Start wouldn't work. The Driver should control the car. My mom is too weak to push a car. So me and my bro got down and tried pushing. But it was of no use. We were weak against that 995 KG Ride of ours. Then the cops came, helped us move the ride. The car broke down on an inclined road, so it was hardly movable. Then five members came for help and we moved that kitty... We stopped near a store and checked the Engine; poured some water in some 'blah-blah'. Then it was time for the wipers to make things worse. They worked without the orders. They began to wipe roughly without our wish. It also made scratches on our Glass.
Then we somehow managed to ride that thing without even knowing the fact behind this cause. We decided to pull over near a Mechanic's shop and got it tested. The battery was completely dry without the acid in it. It was the problem that prohibited the Self-start from working. Then that shop guy gave some from one of his old used batteries which let us travel a little further. That mechanic guy was much of a chatty guy. He kept on telling the facts about the vehicle. We handed him 200 and we were roaded back. Finally we reached Chidambaram and went to the hotel which my Dad had booked for us. It was Hotel Akshaya. An A/C room with a double bed. Wanna see it? The Cover on the bed is the collection of my Certificates.
Then we went for the admission the following day. And it was also a bizarre. Anyways, I am done telling the trip to Chidambaram.
Will return with another incident soon... Until then it is Guhan Getting Away from the Keyboard...
